Learn how Lt. Col. John Graves Simcoe, who stayed at the Townsend home for three consecutive winters, transformed the corps into a legion of infantry and cavalry, which took part in many of the British Army’s major campaigns until their surrender at Yorktown.\n\nBio: A long-time researcher of the Loyalist Military and local history, Todd Braisted has appeared as a Guest Historian on the PBS Series History Detectives; as well as the Australian and Canadian series, Who Do You Think You Are?; and served as a coordinator for the New Jersey Network documentary Ten Crucial Days.
