In September of 2025, we welcomed Katie Cynkar as our Curatorial Fellow. Katie received her MA from the Winterthur Program in American Material Culture after starting her career as a lab technician in the Archaeology Lab at Colonial Williamsburg. Through her publications and presentations, her work focuses on analyzing objects to confront America’s complex past so that we may become better citizens and a more inclusive society today. Katie looks forward to continuing this endeavor by researching and exhibiting Raynham Hall Museum’s rich collection in order to tell the multifaceted stories of life in Oyster Bay and their importance to American history.
Many thanks to the Peggy N. & Roger G. Gerry Charitable Trust and the Vidda Foundation for their generous support of this fellowship!
